Why to Choose Guitar
  • 1
    Self-Expression and Socializing
A guitar is one of the most popular instruments widely used in contemporary music. You can hear guitar reefs almost in every genre – in jazz, rock, pop, country, bluegrass, funk, and many others.

Guitar lessons give you an opportunity to jam with the other musicians in a rock band setting, accompany yourself or others while singing your favorite songs, or play solo pieces.

During the guitar lessons, you learn tablature and chord charts that provide you basics of music theory and allow you to create your own melodies. Using these skills, you will be able to write songs and perform them at your friends' parties and other social gatherings.

    Brain Capacity Increase
When playing and learning different guitar chord progressions, we can understand the principles of music composition. Then, using hearing and logical thinking, we combine different chords and melodies to improvise and creating our own pieces.

This process requires the capacity of two cerebral hemispheres – while the left part is responsible for the sense of rhythm, the right one hears the timbre and distinguishes the melody. Thus, practicing music allows to synchronously develop both brain hemispheres and increase the number of neural connections between them.

    Self-Esteem and Personal Popularity
Personal popularity is one of the key factors why teenagers of 12 years old start attending guitar classes. Every music piece learned and performed gives a person the feeling of personal achievement, and that can be shared with his friends and family.

Often a teenager who plays the guitar well attracts the attention of peers and teachers and sometimes becomes a local celebrity, performing at school events and parties. All that leads to the person’s self-confidence growth and a successful social life in the future.
