Why Play Brass Instruments?
Positive Impact
on Respiratory System
Regular practicing of brass instruments has
an immense impact on your health. It revitalizes
and strengthens the respiratory system and may help to cure such diseases as asthma, chronic bronchitis, and other issues with breathing.

The reason to that is that when you play the brass instrument, resistance to the flow of exhaled air
is created. It helps to open the alveoli (structural units of the lungs), develops respiratory tissues, improves gas exchange in the body, and increase the vital lungs’ capacity.
Academic Success
The singing lessons have a similar positive effect on people’s mind and body condition. Both singing and playing brass instruments may help to treat nervous disorders and relieve insomnia. Even fussy and impatient children who take these classes may become calmer and more balanced, and this in turn may positively affect their academic success in school.
Obtaining of Variety of Skills
At Talent's School, you will learn to play not just the one instrument, but also obtain the skill of switching easily between different members of the brass family. At the same time, you will have an opportunity to practice in a chamber group or big band, that will be of great help to you if you decide to proceed with your music education in other institutions.

During our brass lessons, you also acquire breathing techniques that would be useful for your health and everyday life.

What is the Best Age to Start Playing Brass?

For Kids
Normally we recommend starting taking classes from 8 years old. Basing on our teachers' long-term expertise the kids of earlier ages typically do not have the sufficient lung capacity and physical strength to handle these instruments.
If you plan to start your kid's education at the youngest age possible, you could consider enrolling in guitar, piano, or violin classes.
For Adults
It’s never too late to start playing the brass instruments, we welcome first-time students of any age. To meet our student needs and abilities we tailor our classes individually for each person. All you need is motivation!
